Tom Gaughan, past Vice President of the Food Service Division of FCStone Group, is a consultant to INTL-FCStone. He advises the firm and the Food Service Division on strategic initiatives, client relationships, and business development. His expertise in the commodity business includes futures trading operations, accounting and compliance issues, computerized trading systems, portfolio analysis and risk management. Tom was the Managing Partner of Downes-O'Neill when the company was acquired by FCStone. He started on the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade and Chicago Mercantile Exchange, running trading operations and filling. Tom has also worked as a principal at several money management firms and was a risk manager and trader at PaineWebber in their Managed Futures division.
